SCW Secretary-General presented PhD thesis copy
Manama, Aug. 3 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), Hala Al-Ansari, today received Dr. Mayasa Al-Sowaidi, who presented her a copy of the PhD thesis, entitled “An Examination of the Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Leadership, and Organisational Effectiveness of Non-Profit Organisations in the Kingdom of Bahrain” which she had obtained from the Grenoble Ecole de Management in France.
Al-Ansari praised the Bahraini women’s keenness to develop themselves scientifically and cognitively in various fields, and to increase their contributions to the national development process that the Kingdom is witnessing with the determination of all its citizens.
She stressed the keenness of the SCW, led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King, to continue its initiative and programmes aimed at strengthening and integrating the Bahraini women’s support and advancement system, including the consolidation of gender balance in all sectors.
She commended Dr. Al-Sowaidi’s efforts to compile her PhD dissertation, stressing the importance of her field of study.
She underlined the SCW’s pride in the contributions of Bahraini women in the knowledge-related fields, lauding Dr. Al-Sowaidi’s choice of the topic of her PhD thesis, and her valuable findings and recommendations.
Dr. Mayasa Al-Sowaidi expressed thanks to the SCW, led by HRH Princess Sabeeka, for its great support for the efforts to advance Bahraini women in all fields, paving the way for them to realise their ambitions, as well as earn more trust and support from their society and families.
